Our office, as well as the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the American Dental Association (ADA), and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), all recommend establishing a “Dental Home” for your child by one year of age. Children who have a dental home are more likely to receive appropriate preventive and routine oral health care.
Our practice will accept most major insurance plans. As a courtesy, our office will file your child’s claim and all necessary documentation to your insurance carrier. Prior to your child’s first appointment, our office will obtain a breakdown of benefits to better inform us of your policy and your expected copayments.
We will make every effort to give you an estimated copayment based on the breakdown of benefits obtained, however there are times that our office is unaware of an exclusion which may result in a slightly higher copayment. We encourage you to contact your insurance company directly should you have any questions regarding your coverage or benefits.
Currently we are in-network with the following insurances:
- Blue Cross and Blue Shield
- Delta Dental
- United Concordia
If you do not see your insurance on the list, please give us a call and we will be happy to work with your insurance company if possible. If we are out of network, we are happy to submit claims on your behalf.
